Your Comfort Zone

Fear and anxiety can set in as soon as we begin to even think about doing something that is new or out of the norm to us.  Your mind hijacks you and you begin to worry about the worse case scenarios.  Interestingly though, most of the things we create in our mind never really come to fruition but at that very moment it feels so real that you begin to have fight or flight symptoms.

The body doesn’t really know the difference between a real threat and a vividly imagined one.  Therefore anytime you’re stressing about what could potentially be the worst thing ever if you dared step out of your comfort zone, your body releases cortisol, blood pressure rises and you age just a little more.

It’s important to understand what prevents us from stepping out of our comfort zone.  For the most part is fear  from past programming.  We have been programmed from the minute we were born by our mothers, fathers, teachers and preachers.  They programmed us with their fears, limiting beliefs and their past programming.  Of course they didn’t do it intentionally.  They probably aren’t even aware of why they had certain fears and anxieties in life.

I can tell you from experience that when you decide to step out of your self imposed zone, you will be happier, healthier and you’ll enjoy life so much more.

Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real.  So I’m telling you to Face Everything And Rise.  Some of the best experiences in life happen when you’re uncomfortable.  Start small, get rid of the negative self scripts, visualize the best possible outcome and seek a buddy who enjoys stepping out of their comfort zone.
