A great stress management tool is meditation. On top helping you manage your stress meditation can help you with all the pillar in your life and has great benefits.

With the hectic pace and demands of modern life, many people feel stressed and over-worked. It often feels like there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Our stress and tiredness make us unhappy, impatient and frustrated. It can even affect our health. We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused.

Meditation can also help us to understand our own mind. We can learn how to transform our mind from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, from unhappy to happy.

Peggy Gaines, RN & BSN is a wife and a mother of two wonderful children. In 2006, her 18 year old son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Meditation was a tremendous help to her and her son as he fought and eventually lost his battle with cancer. It helped her to deal with the loss and to recognize that sometimes the most difficult times reap the greatest spiritual growth.

Meditation is an effective tool for anxiety and stress. Research shows the benefit of including meditation practice for anxiety and panic attacks. Many cardiologists recommend meditation for their patients. Meditation decreases stress and anxiety and lowers blood pressure. High levels of stress can lead to a panic attack which can be easily mistaken for a heart attack.

When you’ve decided you are committed to changing the way you feel, Peggy is committed to making sure meditation works for you. Learn more about Peggy Gaines.
